Due to the evolution of the pandemic, the Valais Hospital no longer allows access to visitors and external stakeholders who do not have a Covid certificate. The measure in force since Monday 1 p.m. will also be applied from this Wednesday in Neuchâtel hospitals. Parents wishing to go to pediatrics or another hospital department with a child over 12 years old are therefore subject to this rule. A situation that is not unanimous.

Following a video posted on social networks by a Martigneraine explaining this new reality, about sixty people gathered, in solidarity, Monday evening, in front of the Sion Hospital, as reported “Le Nouvelliste”. The demonstration took place peacefully. A small group still wanted to enter the hospital for a moment, before being ordered by the mother to leave the premises. Which they immediately did. The mother, who therefore does not have a Covid certificate, was able to visit her son again on Monday afternoon. La Valaisanne claims that no one will prevent her from doing the same this morning.
