His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received, on Monday, at Al-Shati Palace, the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohammed Al-Halbousi.
During the meeting, His Highness and Mohammed Al-Halbousi discussed brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop cooperation and joint coordination, especially in the parliamentary fields.
The meeting dealt with the importance of enhancing the role of Arab parliaments in adopting the issues of their peoples and achieving their interests and aspirations for development, progress and prosperity, in addition to their role in consolidating effective Arab solidarity to face the common challenges witnessed in the region.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Airports Board of Directors, Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Federal National Council, and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security. The meeting was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Iraqi parliament speaker.
