The vast majority of cases are in men who have sex with men

As a reminder, the “Monkeypox info service” telephone line is accessible every day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., on the toll-free number 0 801 90 80 69 to answer questions about this virus.

Preventive vaccination has been opened for those most exposed to the virus, but many testimonials report very slow start-up making it very difficult; almost impossible to get an appointment.

To date, more than 11,000 people have been vaccinated. A figure to be compared to that put forward by the association for the fight against AIDS Aides: according to it, 150,000 people in France could be affected by this vaccine.
