Covid-19 residents are taken care of at Maison Joly, in Montbéliard. None were transferred to the technical platform of Trévenans. If necessary, residents are placed on oxygen and treatments are administered. “All known protocols for the management of covid patients are in place”, explains Doctor Arnaud Lamboeuf. Whether there are symptoms or not, all patients “Are monitored in the same way”, guarantees the practitioner. And he is careful not to mention symptomatic or asymptomatic cases, the population concerned being very particular. Those are “Elderly, dependent and fragile people”, he recalls.
Doctor Arnaud Lamboeuf praises the big one “Investment” of the establishment in the management of this crisis. Staff worked despite their leave; 12 staff were affected out of the 63 working at Maison Joly. “We benefit from sustained medical supervision and trained and well-invested professionals”, underlines Pascal Mathis for his part. Different skills and different services of the hospital were called upon to support Maison Joly, which is not isolated.
Health nurses came to see the measures and protocols and, if necessary, offer ” corrective actions “, Pascal Mathis notes. Nursing students also joined the teams. “Remarkable support”, he greets.
