More than 100 flights have been canceled in the country by airlines Avianca, Viva Air and Latam, on account of infections with the new omicron variant of covid-19 among its crews.
Latam, for example, reported that due to the contagion of 18% of its crew members, 53 flights from January 8 to 16 were canceled in advance in the country.
