More than 120 migrants rescued in the Strait of Pas-de-Calais on Monday

Crossing attempts to England continue, despite deteriorating weather conditions. 121 migrants were rescued on Monday alone. Seven rescues took place: each time the exiles were on makeshift boats, which sometimes took water. The most loaded boat contained 34 people.

According to the maritime prefecture, everyone is safe, even if some migrants are suffering hypothermia. Already during the previous weekend, around sixty people had been rescued under the same circumstances.
