Al-Taawon team achieved an important victory against its Al-Batin counterpart, during the match that brought them together this evening, Thursday, in the 27th round of the Saudi League.
The formation of the main match for cooperation witnessed the presence of the Egyptian professional, Mustafa Fathi, in its ranks.
In the 10th minute, Mostafa Fathi made the first scorer for Al-Taawoun, after he dribbled the Al-Batin defender on the right of the field in a wonderful way, then sent a cross that his teammate Tawamba headed into the goal.
In the 45th minute, Al-Taawoun players demanded a penalty kick after Tawamba passed a ball to his colleague Al-Omari, who fell into the Al-Batin penalty area after an opponent’s defender interfered, but the referee did not award a penalty kick.
Mustafa Fathi missed the opportunity to score the second goal for Al-Taawoun in the 73rd minute when the ball reached the Al-Batin penalty area and hit the ball over the goal.
With this win, Al-Taawoun raised its score to point 29, to jump to 12th place in the league standings instead of 14, the first relegation centers, while Al-Batin’s balance stopped at point 26, in 15th place, penultimate.
