Lebanese singer Nadine Njeim issued an explanatory statement in response to rumors circulating on social media and some media outlets about custody of her two children.
Lawyer Antonio Farah said: “Our client, Mrs. Nadine Nassib Njeim, became the ex-wife of Hadi Al-Asmar, after a final appeal ruling was issued on 10-19-2021 and duly implemented by the personal status departments, and therefore she is again registered with her family.”
The statement added: “Our client, Nadine Nassib Njeim, is the mother of the two minor children, Hafen and Giovanni. The Maronite Court of Appeal granted her the right of custody and custody of her two sons (((single))) according to a ruling issued on 21-12-2022.”
Antonio concluded his statement by saying that “the truth has a thousand rounds and rounds.”
Nadine commented on the statement by tweeting, “Thank you, Professor Antonio, for the clarification.”
Nadine Njeim married Hadi Al-Asmar on June 16, 2012, after a love story that lasted for months. She gave birth to two sons, “Haven” in 2013 and “Giovanni” in 2014, and in September 2019 she announced their amicable separation.
