NBA: Brad Wanamaker leaves Boston for Golden State

Left free by the Boston Celtics, Brad Wanamaker was recruited by Golden State where he will be the lining of Stephen Curry, double MVP and absent for much of last season following a broken hand. For the Celtics, for the past two years, the 31-year-old point guard has already served as a back-up to Kyrie Irving and then to Kemba Walker.

Big size in European basketball, including CSP Limoges (2012-2013 when the club returned to Pro A), Brad Wanamaker has only just completed his second season in the NBA. A sober and experienced player, his recruitment cost the Golden State Warriors only $ 2.25 million.
