NBA: November 18 draft will be by videoconference

The Covid-19 pandemic, which interrupted the season in March and led to the establishment of the play-offs in a bubble in Orlando, will also turn the draft upside down. Scheduled for November 18, it will take place by videoconference due to the health crisis, the North American League announced Thursday.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and his deputy Mark Tatum will visit ESPN studios in Connecticut to announce the selections for the first and second rounds. Minnesota holds the first pick in the draft and will therefore have the privilege of recruiting the player of their choice, followed in order by Golden State, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, Detroit, New York, Washington, Phoenix, San Antonio, Sacramento, New Orleans and Boston.
