About 1,000 people responded to the call of the “Action Group for a Reasonable Anti-Covid Policy” this Saturday in Lachen, in the canton of Schwyz. The movement brings together the forces of the cantons of central Switzerland opposed to the toughening of preventive health measures.
“Let us drop the mask, to be able to breathe”. This message comes from a primary school teacher in Schwyz, dismissed this fall for refusing to wear the mask. She was present at the head of this rally which took place this Saturday afternoon in Lachen, in the canton of Schwyz.
The demonstration was organized by “the Alliance of the cantons of Central Switzerland (SZ / UR / OW / NW) for a reasoned policy of the Covid”. The speakers were numerous, in front of a large crowd, and precisely not masked.
Among them were national councilor Pirmin Schwander, UDC national councilor in Schwyz, who lodged a complaint against the Covid measures taken by his canton according to him “by politicians who did nothing during the summer, and who would have better time now to resign “.
The peaceful demonstration broke up after about two hours. The police stood back and gave up enforcing the wearing of masks for reasons of proportionality. Among the participants were many families with children. The organizers will be reported to the public prosecutor, writes the cantonal police.
