The statement also thanked the National Testing Agency for accepting the applications of expatriate students in Qatar and allowing them to enter the examination center. With this, the Doha Center became the 14th NEET examination center outside the country. In addition to Doha, Kuwait City (Kuwait), Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah (UAE), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Manama (Bahrain), Muscat (Oman), Bangkok (Thailand), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Lagos (Nigeria) and Singapore.

Last year, for the first time, NEET examination centers were allotted outside India. In the first phase, the centers were allowed only in Kuwait and the UAE. The GCC has a total of eight examination centers in six countries. The test centers, including in Doha, were set up following constant pressure from students and parents in the Gulf countries. The deadline for submitting online applications for the NEET is May 6, 9.20 pm Qatar time (11.50 pm Indian time). The application can be submitted through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
