new connection to Detroit for 2023

Seasonal flights between Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF) and Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport (DTW) will begin on May 18, 2023 with four weekly non-stop flights until October 30, 2023.

Flight 873 will depart Iceland for Detroit at 5:00 p.m. and arrive at 6:25 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays aboard a 160-seat Boeing 737MAX. Return flight 872 will depart Detroit for Iceland at 8:30 p.m. on the same days. The flight time from Iceland to the Motor City is approximately six hours.

Connections are also available at Icelandair’s hub, Keflavík International Airport, to over 25 destinations in Iceland, Greenland, UK, USA, Scandinavia and mainland Europe.

Icelandair passengers can also stopover in Iceland for up to 7 nights at no additional airfare en route to their final destination.
