New head of Switzerland at Boston Consulting Group

The American consultancy is putting its local business under new management. An expert in digitization comes to the helm.

Takes over on October 1st Joachim Stephan the management of the consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Switzerland. This emerged from a communication on Monday. He releases on the post Daniel Kessler away; he hands over his responsibility after almost seven years. However, he will remain with BCG Switzerland as Managing Director and Senior Partner.

The 49-year-old technology and digital expert Stephan will be responsible for 400 employees and sales in the three-digit million range. He is currently Managing Director and Senior Partner in BCG’s Zurich office, from where he heads Europe-wide business with companies in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. He has lived in St.Gallen for 20 years.

Also new group CEO

Also with effect from October 1st, the entire group will have a new head boss. This in the person of the previous BCG European chief Christoph Schweizer. The German recently worked from Munich.

BCG is also turning a big wheel in the Swiss financial sector. For example, the projections for the growth of the banking center come from the pen of the consultants.
