New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, filed a lawsuit Wednesday against former US President Donald Trump and three of his children for alleged tax crimes within the Trump Organization.

“These acts of fraud and misrepresentation (…) were committed by the senior management of the Trump Organization as part of a common effort for each annual (tax) Statement and were approved at the highest levels of the Trump Organization, including Mr. Trump”, reads the letter of more than 200 pages presented by James.
James believes that Trump and the rest of the defendants could have violated state and criminal laws, so he referred the case to the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Tax Service, according to the television network. CNN.
