Carlos, who won the gold medal with Brazil at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, was also spotted on Newcastle’s radar by performing at a high level in Sevilla. According to British ‘Sky Sports’ report, Newcastle have already made an official offer for Carlos to Sevilla and are currently waiting for a response.

Carlos is a player who attracted interest from Liverpool last year. At the time, English media reported that Liverpool were considering signing Carlos as a central defender for Virgil van Dijk. Carlos was recognized for his ability as a starting central defender in Seville from 2019 after playing for Nantes, the French Ligue 1 club in the past.

Meanwhile, Newcastle, besides Carlos, are currently busy with reinforcements. Newcastle are trying to sign AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiasil and Reims striker Hugo Ekitike.
