The Kingdom’s embassy in South Africa announced the death of a citizen, as a result of a collision between two training planes in a suburb of Johannesburg.

The embassy said in a statement that it had received a notification from the government authorities in South Africa stating that a collision had occurred between two aviation training planes, noting that the accident resulted in the death of citizen Ahmed bin Muhammad al-Sisi, who was studying aviation on his own account, as well as the death of his trainer and the crew of the other plane.

She indicated that she had visited the site of the accident and contacted the relevant government agencies to complete the necessary procedures to transfer the body to his relatives in the Kingdom, indicating that it will follow up the investigation procedures carried out by the competent authorities.
