Nutritionist Ibrahim Al-Arifi said that the coldness that a person feels during the winter season and the body’s need for calories are not a justification for gaining weight.

Al-Arefi explained during his meeting with the “An-Nahar” program on the “Al-Ekhbariya” channel, that controlling calories and avoiding weight gain is through exercising, whether at home or walking, indicating that some drinks such as green tea and ginger can be consumed, along with hot peppers. .

He added that foods that contain a high percentage of calories such as ghee, honey and other popular foods should be avoided, citing the words of God Almighty: “Eat and drink and do not be extravagant.”
