The CEO of the medical sector at Tawuniya Insurance, Dr. Othman Al-Qasabi, said that the volume of spending in The medical insurance market in the Kingdom amounts to 20 billion riyals, in exchange for insurance services for beneficiaries.
Al-Qasabi indicated, during an intervention on the “Al-Rased” program on the “Al-Ikhbaria” channel, that the waste in health care around the world has reached 30%, including in Europe and America, stressing that it is possible to benefit from the waste and make it serve patients.
He noted that the system in the Kingdom includes treating a patient who needs to save a life, sight or limb, without referring to medical expenses.
