News 24 | The Ministry of Health issues an update to define the condition of a person who is imprisoned for the purpose of visiting the Kingdom

Today (Sunday), the Ministry of Health announced an update of the definition of the “immune” status for those coming to the Kingdom for the purpose of visits, including Hajj and Umrah.

She explained that, as of December 1, it was allowed to enter the Kingdom for those who received two doses of the “Sinopharma”, “Sinovac” and “Cofaxin” vaccines.

The ministry added that as of next January 1, 2022, those who received two doses of the “Sputnik v” vaccine will be allowed to enter the Kingdom for the purpose of Hajj and Umrah.

She indicated that the update comes in parallel with the previously approved vaccines such as “Pfizer”, “Moderna” and “AstraZeneca”, which require arrivals to obtain two doses of them before coming to the Kingdom, or to receive one dose of the “Janssen” vaccine and wait for 14 days. After getting it before coming.

She stressed the requirement for a negative examination result 48 hours after arrival, and to stay in institutional quarantine for 3 days.
