In week 11, two top teams meet in the NFL, who last faced each other in the playoffs of the preseason.
The Tennessee Titans travel to Baltimore, where they want to score an important victory against the Ravens around superstar Lamar Jackson. Three of the last four games have been lost, the last being a 17:34 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
So now the Ravens are waiting. A tough one, but one that has fond memories. Finally, the Titans prevailed somewhat surprisingly in the playoffs in January with 28:12 Jackson and Co. The undisputed match winner in the duel for the AFC final was running back Derrick Henry. This tore off a spectacular 195 yards and almost single-handedly ensured the victory.
And even before the rematch, hopes are once again on Henry. Good for the Titans and their star runner: The Ravens’ nose tackle, Brandon Williams, is unlikely to be able to play.
Endurance test for Rodgers and the Packers
At the New Orleans Saints, all eyes will be on Taysom Hill, who will replace the injured star quarterback Drew Brees. In his first assignment as a starting QB he measures himself against the Atalanta Falcons. US media reports that he will be preferred to Jameis Winston.
Meanwhile, the still undefeated Steelers from Pittsburgh will meet the Jacksonville Jaguars, the New England Patriots will compete with the Houston Texans.
Later in the evening, the Green Bay Packers (seven wins, two losses) and the Colts (six wins, three losses) face each other. The Packers’ brilliant offensive (number six in the NFL) has to deal with the best defensive in the league. A real acid test for playmaker Aaron Rodgers, who in turn leads the league with a quarterback rating of 84.4.
In the late top game, the Las Vegas Raiders challenge the Kansas City Chiefs.
