Concern for NFL pro after nasty head crash
Nobody wants to see scenes like this.
Buffalo Bill Dane Jackson (25) collides with his teammate in the game against the Tennessee Titans. He tackles his opponent when Tremaine Edmunds (24) tries to come to his aid. But instead of the opponent, Edmunds meets his own man.
In the replay, Jackson’s head can be seen being jerked back viciously. An ambulance drives onto the field to take him away with his neck injury. The exact diagnosis is still pending. He still seems to be able to move his legs.
He will be taken to the hospital for further evaluation, where he will be given an X-ray and a CT scan.
A shock for the Bills just before halftime. Buffalo dominated the action in the first half. Reggie Gilliam (25) shakes off two opponents to score the first touchdown of the night.
After Derrick Henry (28) equalized, two field goals and another touchdown by Stefon Diggs (28) ensured a 17:7 lead. But the joy only lasts for a short time.
After Jackson’s injury, the stadium is noticeably quieter. Some Bills fans are praying for their player. The game goes on anyway. Buffalo shows why they’re considered a top favorite to go to the Super Bowl. They extend their lead in the third quarter to the final score of 41:7.
The duo Josh Allen (26) and Diggs were outstanding. The quarterback threw three of his four touchdowns and 148 of his 317 passing yards at his favorite receiver.
Philadelphia Eagles – Minnesota Vikings
In the last game of the second NFL game day, Philadelphia beat Minnesota 24-7 at home. Player of the Game: Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (24). He completed 14 of his 16 passes in the first half, throwing a touchdown and running two more.
Kirk Cousins, on the other hand, has a wasted day, throwing three interceptions.
