NFL: Incredible record touchdown after field goal attempt – American football

The NFL is getting going: the 3rd game day of the main round has started.

The early games on Sunday with an absolute mega-highlight at a glance:

Jacksonville Jaguars – Arizona Cardinals 19:31

What a historical scene just before half-time!

Cardinals’ Matt Prater tries the longest field goal in NFL history from 68 yards. But the leather egg flies too short, Jamal Agnew intercepts the attempt before the sideline and actually brings it over 109 yards into the opposing end zone. Record touchdown!

Something like that only succeeded two players before him: Cordarrelle Patterson (2013) and Antonio Cromartie (2007).

Patterson ran a kickoff-return touchdown for the Minnesota Vikings in 2013, also over 109 yards. And Cromartie accomplished a similar feat when he ran a failed field goal attempt over 109 yards for a touchdown for the San Diego Chargers in 2007.

Even if Agnew’s crazy run brought the Jaguars 13: 7 into the lead at halftime, it wasn’t enough to win. In the end, the Cardinals won the crazy record spectacle.

Kansas City Chiefs – Los Angeles Chargers 24:30

High tension in the NFL! After the bitter 35:36 bankruptcy against the Ravens from the previous week, the Chiefs wanted to do better against the Chargers. Did not work, it was a surprising 24:30 bankruptcy in their own stadium.

Buffalo Bills – Washington Football Team 43:21

A gala by Bill’s quarterback Josh Allen (4 thrown touchdowns, one run) brought the clear victory over Washington.

Cleveland Browns – Chicago Bears 26:6

Odell Beckham Jr. (28) missed the Browns’ first two games of the season after his cruciate ligament rupture, and the wide receiver was back against Chicago. Already it worked with the clear victory over the Bears.

Even the debut of rookie quarterback Justin Fields could not prevent that. He was sacked nine times by the Browns Defense.

Detroit Lions – Baltimore Ravens 17:19

Insanity in Detroit! The Ravens win with a field goal over 66 yards in the last second. Particularly crazy: The egg first lands on the crossbar, then falls backwards to win the Ravens. 66 yards mean NFL record!

New England Patriots – New Orleans Saints 13:28

Second defeat for the Patriots. The new quarterback Mac Jones only managed one touchdown, but he was intercepted three times.

New York Giants – Atlanta Falcons 14:17

In the duel between the two teams without a win, the Falcons narrowly prevailed in the end, winning just before the end with a last-minute field goal with 17:14. The Giants crisis continues!

Pittsburgh Steelers – Cincinnati Bengals 10:24

Surprise in the “AFC North”: The Bengals with the young quarterback Joe Burrow (24) clearly win against the Steelers with oldie Ben Roethlisberger (39).

Tennessee Titans – Indianapolis Colts 25:16

On the first day of the game the Titans lost clearly, followed by the victory at the Seahawks, now the clear victory over the Colts. Clear upward trend among the Titans!
