Actor Nicolas Mouawad talked about the bullying he suffered in his childhood due to his short stature and suffering from excess weight at that time, as he had no friends, which made him lose confidence in himself.
He added that he did not have the courage at his young age to express his love for any girl, as he was ashamed of his outward appearance, and instead of acknowledging her directly, he was sending messages to her via a television program.
Moawad said through a media appearance that his confidence increased and was formed with life experiences, especially when he entered the field of acting, and seeing the positive reactions of viewers, and thus this changed his view of himself, which came from painful memories and bad experiences, as he put it.
He also showed his love and passion at his young age for the profession of directing instead of acting, as his character was completely far from acting, due to the fact that he was shy and introverted and did not like the spotlight, so he did not participate in any plays during his school days.
