NORWEGIAN AIR, IN FULL RESTRUCTURING, CANCELED 88 AIRBUS ORDERS
OSLO (Reuters) – Norwegian Air on Friday announced the cancellation of all of its 88 orders for single-aisle aircraft from European manufacturer Airbus.
The low-cost airline recorded a depreciation charge of 12.8 billion crowns (1.23 billion euros) in the fourth quarter, linked to plans to reduce its fleet and cancel aircraft orders .
It was placed under bankruptcy protection in Norway and Ireland at the end of last year, the two countries where most of its assets are housed.
