Zlatan Ibrahimovic will participate in the San Remo festival in early March, and now the festival’s director Amadeus confirms that the Swede will not commute between Milan and San Remo during the festival days (2-6 March).
– No, he will go to Milan on Wednesday for the match against Udinese, then he will come back to us in San Remo, Amadeus says to Corriere dello Sport.
Zlatan has been criticized for this by Fabio Capello, among others, but that criticism is waved off by Amadeus.
– Times have changed. Zlatan is a super professional, and extraordinary player as he knows how to take care of himself. He has been training on the Riviera all week, carefully as always, there is nothing for the fans to worry about, he says.
Amadeus is himself a big Interfan, and recently had lunch with the Swede – but before this weekend’s derby he has not spoken to Zlatan.
– No, no, it’s life threatening. He is a crazy winner, you do not want to annoy him before a match like this, he says.
When Milan today (Thursday) plays a match against the Red Star in the Europa League, Zlatan starts on the bench, just to be on top against Inter.
