The family of Maxime Baugnet, killed at a rest area in Engis during an altercation with a motorist, is trying to mourn. Through the voice of her lawyer, she breaks the silence: “Maxime’s dad and partner are destroyed”.

On Sunday September 4, at the end of the afternoon on a rest area of ​​the RN90 in Hermalle-sous-Huy (Engis), an altercation between two motorists turned tragic. Cédric, a 43-year-old tiler from Engis, admitted having hit Maxime Baugnet, 32 from Eghezée, three times. He could not be resuscitated by the emergency services and eventually died.
