As you may know, Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on December 10, 2020, after a third consecutive postponement. The title of Poles by CD Projekt RED promises to be a real technological showcase. So logical to see Nvidia partner with the developers and release a new trailer to highlight the performance of the latest GeForce RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 sure Cyberpunk 2077.
Via this umpteenth “Behind the scene” or Behind the scenes if you prefer, Nvidia unveils the impact of Ray Tracing on the management of the day / night cycle and shows the interest of DLSS, this technology which offers super-sampling of scenes, in order to increase the overall visual quality. The result is much more natural and realistic lighting, much more successful shadows, all for increased immersion in the megalopolis Night City.
Of course, Nvidia and the developers of CD Projekt RED specify that a muscular configuration to enjoy the title with these two graphics technologies activated. The American company has therefore just published a summary of the different recommended configurations, according to your aspirations: Play in 4K or not, with Ray Tracing at minimum, high or ultra, etc.
Thus, an RTX 2060, an Intel Core i7-4790 or an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G, and 16 GB of RAM will be enough to run the game in FullHD with minimum ray tracing. To play the title in 1440p and with Ray Tracing set to “High”, you will need an RTX 3070, an Intel Core i7-6700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, and 16 GB of RAM.
Finally, if you want to explore Night City in the best conditions, i.e. with Ultra Ray Tracing all in 2016p, you will have to rely on a solid configuration, composed of a RTX 3080, an Intel Core i7-6700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, and 16 GB of RAM. You will understand, Cyberpunk 2077 is rather greedy and it will require a substantial configuration if you plan to take advantage of the latest graphics technologies from Nvidia.
