OM Mercato: Milik – Marseille, a big news falls for Villas-Boas!

A few days before the Champions Trophy, PSG – OM, lost by Olympique de Marseille despite the great performances of Dimitri Payet and especially Florian Thauvin, the Marseille leaders formalized the arrival of Pol Lirola (23 years old), in the form of ‘a six-month loan from Fiorentina during this Mercato.

If OM, which receives Nîmes at the Stade Vélodrome this Saturday on behalf of the 20th day of Ligue 1, negotiated a purchase option estimated at € 11.5 million with the Viola for the Spanish right-back, interesting during his entry into play instead of Nagatomo facing the Paris SG, André Villas-Boas’ priority for the Mercato is indeed called Arkadiusz Milik (SSC Naples).

Indeed, Pablo Longoria and Olympique de Marseille have explored many offensive avenues, including Vincent Aboubakar, in order to find a striker capable of competing with Dario Benedetto and available from this winter on the transfer market, but André Villas-Boas has well and truly set his sights on the striker of the national team of Poland (56 caps / 15 goals).

However, after having sent a first offer for € 7M then a second transfer proposal for € 9M (bonus included) to SSC Naples for Arkadiusz Milik, Aurelio De Laurentiis has not changed his speech and is still claiming € 15M for the Polish international.

But excellent news for André Villas-Boas and OM (who failed Diego Costa, free of any contract since his departure from Atlético Madrid): Arkadiusz Milik would have chosen to join Olympique de Marseille during this winter Mercato and a financial agreement would have even been found with the player and his agent, according to information from our colleagues from RMC Sport !

It now remains to definitively convince the SSC Napoli, which will not be able to content itself with retaining a player who has not played a single minute in Serie A this season and who will reach the end of the contract next June. Especially when we know that Napoli had broken his piggy bank to recruit Victor Osimhen from LOSC against a check for € 80M at the Mercato last summer …

Case to follow therefore on the side of the Marseille club led by Eyraud and McCourt, after this OM – Nîmes in Ligue 1, but the Milik file seems to be on the right track for the Marseillais!
