A woman with many children has been kidnapped and murdered in the Murmansk region. The ex-husband of the victim, who has been detained, is suspected of the crime. The body of the woman was discovered on March 28, according to “MVD Media”.
On March 26, the police department of Kirovsk received a report that women’s screams and sounds similar to gunshots were heard in the area of a house on Olimpiyskaya Street. When the police arrived at the scene, they found bloodstains in the snow and discovered that a man had shot the woman multiple times, dragged her into his car, and fled.
The suspect was later spotted by traffic police officers at a gas station in Apatity and was taken into custody. He was identified as the ex-husband of the deceased woman and was born in 1978. Hostile relations between the two may have been the motive for the murder. The alleged murder weapon, a pneumatic rifle, was found on the roof of the car.
The body of the victim, born in 1980, was discovered with multiple gunshot injuries the day after the crime at an industrial area in Kirovsk by the Russian Interior Ministry. The Investigative Committee of the Murmansk Region launched a criminal case for kidnapping and murder under articles 126, paragraph 2, section 2. “c, d” and 105 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspect is believed to have kept the victim in the car until her death before disposing of her body and attempting to flee.
The investigators plan to request the suspect’s arrest. The victim leaves behind four children.

The Investigative Committee clarified that the rifle was pneumatic, and at least seven shots were fired at the head and torso of the woman. According to preliminary information, the suspect kept her in the car until death, after which he disposed of the body and tried to escape.
The investigation intends to petition for arrest. The woman has four children.
