After graduating from the Business Documentation Department of the Third Division of Ming Chuan Commercial College, Cai Huiqing joined the “Foreign Trade Magazine” where Zhuo Yongcai was the editor-in-chief because of her passion for literature. “Editing was the first stage of my life. At that time, I hoped to be financially independent, so I worked very hard.” Cai Huiqing said, “I used to have inner double eyelids, but when I read manuscripts, I became outer double eyelids.” The articles she edited were far from the so-called “literature”, but she gradually learned about business and financial knowledge such as credit evaluation and trade rules.
In 1988, Zhuo Yongcai bought Hefeng Industrial, and decided to invest in the precision machinery industry the following year, establishing Shangyin. The original editor and secretary were suddenly hired by the boss. This industry is thick and professional, and the “black hand” employees talk about the professional term “precision machinery”. To Cai Huiqing, it is almost like an alien language.
“One night, I really felt a lot of pressure!” She called Zhuo Yongcai. Zhuo Yongcai was still thinking about her, Cai Huiqing couldn’t help crying, “I encountered a bottleneck, I can’t help it, I confessed to him, saying that it is difficult for me to continue.” Unexpectedly, Zhuo Yongcai immediately responded calmly, “Think about it, what do you think you are good at?” Cai Huiqing said: “I think about it, I am really good at it.” There are many things he is good at.”
Therefore, she brought her past enthusiasm for literature and editing into her work. Cai Huiqing started to set up a marketing planning team for the brand in the Taipei office, and worked step by step from catalog production and participation in machinery exhibitions. Cai Huiqing is still unmarried, but now she is not alone at all. At the age of 61, she climbed to the top of Yushan with her younger sisters. So far, she maintains her fitness habit every week.
