We avoided a real tragedy, in the night from Saturday to Sunday, at Luna Park in Fréjus, in the south of France. Indeed, as shown in a video posted on social networks, an accident took place with the attraction called “The Catapult”, in which two people are thrown into the air by large rubber bands.
But, in this case, one of the rubber bands gave way and the passengers flew to the right, before falling back to the ground. Miraculously, only a young woman was injured in the foot, says Var Matin.
An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the accident. The park manager assured our colleagues that the rubber bands were new.
