Regarding the USA-Africa Summit, announced last July by US President Joe Biden to be organized from December 13 to 15 in Washington, the Congolese daily Forum of Aces notes on Monday that “Only states are invited” at this Summit.
The newspaper underlines in an article on the next USA-Africa Summit in Washington, signed by its editor José NAWEJ, that “*the United States does not recognize ”fake states”, false states, such as the self-proclaimed Republic” by the ”polisario” separatists.
“Only states are invited to the USA-Africa summit. Exit therefore the ”Fake state” stamped SADR and its ersatz called Polisario. A separatist movement based in Algeria whose representativeness is more than doubtful.says the newspaper, “All the more”he says, “that Moroccans living in the southern provinces have learned, in particular thanks to the Constitution of July 2011, to elect their representatives freely and regularly at all levels of political power”.
“The Polisario or what remains of it is reduced to nothing more than a coterie of wheeler-dealers, mafia-criminals diverting international aid and maintaining dangerous links with drug traffickers, local subsidiaries of terrorist holding companies”writes the publication, noting that“By remaining insensitive to the sirens of the sponsor states of the Polisario, Washington maintains its choice of international legality. The separatist movement does not meet any criteria for claiming statehood. However, the high mass of Washington concerns the States ».
“In addition, the United States of America intends to remain clear with its recognition of Morocco’s full and complete sovereignty over its Sahara. Its southern Moroccan provinces including Laayoune and Dakhla continue to record the opening of general consulates of African, Arab and Latin American and Central American countries”notes the Kinshasa newspaper.
And to add that“In this matter, the American position marked by respect for international legality and the principle of reality should constitute a matter of conscience for any country or group of countries which invites (ent) instead of avoiding a perfect non-state to summits bringing together the States ».
Forum of Aces writes, in this context, that“In particular, the African Union should finally undertake to settle the heavy liabilities of the OAU years, in particular this forfeiture which saw the Pan-African organization take liberties with its own charter by admitting within it an entity which has nothing to do with a state ! ».
