Munich No other German vehicle manufacturer suffered such a drastic drop in sales as a result of the corona crisis as Opel. Sales in the core market of Europe have more than halved since the beginning of the year.
With a total of nine electric cars in its portfolio, the carmaker wants to initiate a turnaround in sales next year, Opel boss Michael Lohscheller told Handelsblatt: “In 2019 – before the corona crisis – we had a sales volume of a good million vehicles. We want to come back to this level. “
