The vaccination campaign is expanding, from Monday January 18, to all people over 75 and patients of all ages with high-risk conditions to develop severe forms of Covid19.
In Occitania, 118 vaccination centers are being set up. The appointment booking devices will be accessible, from this Friday January 15, by internet or by phone.
As announced by the government, people over the age of 75 will be able to be vaccinated against Covid-19 from Monday, January 18. In Occitania, around 650,000 people over the age of 75 now have priority for this vaccination.
From Monday, this priority is also extended to people with high-risk pathology to develop severe forms of Covid19 (for example patients suffering from chronic renal failure, people treated for cancer, transplant recipients, or Down’s syndrome, etc.).
For all those concerned, this voluntary vaccination approach is fully in line with the relationship of trust that they maintain with the attending physician who advises them.
Make an appointment for the vaccine
Given the specific constraints related to vaccines, vaccination against Covid-19 will be carried out in the 118 vaccination centers set up in each territory in Occitania.
These centers are located in each department, as close as possible to where people live.
To promote access and reception conditions, these vaccination operations take place by prior appointment.
These appointments can be made tomorrow by internet or by phone. They will not all be immediate: this vaccination phase will necessarily last for several weeks.
Simplified procedures by internet or phone
To make an appointment, the procedures can be carried out by internet or by telephone.
By internet, the national site Sante.fr from tomorrow will allow access to an interactive map that guides you to the nearest vaccination center and makes it easier to book an appointment online.
These procedures will also be accessible via an interactive map available on the ARS Occitanie website. In the event of difficulty in accessing the internet, these steps can be taken by telephone.
In Occitania, all you have to do is call 0 809 54 19 19
then enter the number of his department. This telephone service is interconnected with each of the 118 vaccination sites, to facilitate making an appointment during this telephone exchange.
