In his testimony, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum emphasized: “The Paris Agreement was signed by four parties, including the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam, and the United States of America. , Republic of Vietnam signed at the Paris International Convention Center (France) on January 27, 1973. This is the combined victory of the struggle on the military, political and diplomatic fronts; is the culmination and milestone in the golden history of revolutionary diplomacy in the Ho Chi Minh era, opening the door to peace for the Vietnamese people and marking the common struggle of the world’s people for independence. , freedom; for peace and justice.”
The exhibition “Paris Agreement – Door to Peace” was organized to help the public better understand the context, developments of the Paris Conference and the significance of the signing of the Paris Agreement for Vietnam and the world. Thereby affirming the wisdom and correct leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Central Committee in each period of struggle against the American imperialists; affirming our delegation’s bravery, initiative, resolute stance and skillful negotiating line during the process of negotiating and signing the Paris Agreement.

With more than 250 documents, photos, artifacts and articles, introducing to the domestic and international public the context, process, and results of the Paris Conference negotiations, the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh on the diplomatic front, contributing to the great victory of the Vietnamese people in the resistance war against the US and saving the country. The Paris Agreement was the victory of the longest and most difficult diplomatic struggle in the history of Vietnamese diplomacy in the twentieth century.
In particular, the thematic exhibition “Paris Agreement – The Door to Peace” also introduces unique and original artifacts that are valuable in many aspects currently kept at the Ho Chi Minh museum.

Through the exhibition “Paris Agreement – The Door to Peace”, the public better understand the meaning of the Paris Agreement for the Vietnamese revolution and the process to come to peace in our country.
