OPPO has launched the Reno8 Series that is available in 3 models: Reno8, 8 Pro and 8 Pro+, with the Pro version coming with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.
After the news has been leaked for a long time, OPPO is finally ready to launch 3 new models of the Reno8 series and reveal all the interesting specifications of the smartphone for us to know.
The top-of-the-line model features a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate OLED screen with a punch hole for a 32MP selfie camera that can autofocus. This is a special feature that is only available in the Pro+ version.
The machine has a rather thin upper and lower edge. With a thickness of only 2.37 mm, while the side thickness measures only 1.4 mm, which the company claims is the thinnest bezel in the Reno series of smartphones ever.
This model will come with a Dimensity 8100 Max chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, while the rear houses a 50MP (1/1.56”, 1.0 µm Sony IMX766 sensor) alongside. OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU technology comes with AI to help reduce noise better. And it supports 4K Ultra Night video and also has an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens.
It runs on ColorOS 12.1 on Android 12 and has a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging technology.
Available in three color options: gray, black and green, this model will go on sale in China on June 1 with the following pricing options:
- RAM 8GB/256GB, price 3,699 yuan (about 19,000 baht)
- RAM 12/256GB, price 3,999 yuan (about 20,500 baht)
It is the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, built on a 4nm process with a coupled Kryo CPU clocked at 2.4Ghz. with Adreno 662 GPU and Mari X Silicon NPU with 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, 8MP ultra wide lens and 2MP macro lens.

Of course, this is the cheapest smartphone in this series. It comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, while the rear comes with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP monochrome sensor and a 2MP macro lens.
It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 chipset and has a 4,500mAh battery with 80W charging support and runs with the same Color OS12.1 as the previous two. This model will go on sale in China on June 1 with the following price options:

- RAM 12/256 GB, price 2,999 yuan (about 15,400 baht)
