OPPO unveils its new smartphone Reno7 in Tunisia
On Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Tunis, OPPO unveiled its latest product from the Reno series, the new Reno7 smartphone, in Tunis, during a special technological ceremony. Many partners, distributors, celebrities, media and bloggers participated in the launch event to discover the exceptional features of this smartphone powered by the latest technologies and artificial intelligence and test its multiple functions.
Powered by Sony’s co-developed IMX709 ultra-high-resolution portrait sensor, Microlens lens and DSLR-type Bokeh Flare effects in portrait photography, the new Reno7 delivers unprecedented performance in the field.
With several hardware and software improvements, including ColorOS 12, a long-lasting 4500mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, OPPO Reno7 promises a smooth and safe everyday user experience. Capture the best moments with ultra HD photography
The Reno7 has a 64MP AI triple camera, a 2MP camera, and a 2MP micro lens with 15 or 30x zoom. The Reno7 emits a special Orbit Light around the micro-lens to help users explore tiny parts.
The 32MP front-facing camera is enhanced by the groundbreaking IMX709 RGBW sensor co-developed by OPPO and Sony that makes its world debut in the Reno7 series. The sensor has a special precision with the Quadra Binning algorithm developed by OPPO. Thanks to this, the sensor is able to capture 60% more light than what is in circulation, while reducing noise up to 35%. All of this provides clearer and brighter images even in low-light environments.
The Reno7 comes with great imaging features, with Bokeh Flare Portrait, Selfie HDR, Portrait Retouching, AI Palette, 108MP HD photos along with AI Scene Enhancement, Flash Snapshot and more so that users can capture the world with great professional quality.
Bokeh Flare Portrait technology enables one-click selfies with superior lighting effects, just like in a high-end digital DSLR camera. It also improves performance with intense lens flare and solves skin discoloration issues.
As for Selfie HDR, it provides clear and crisp selfies in a poorly lit environment. It automatically detects the level of backlight and operates the OPPO HDR algorithm to improve lighting and bring out more details in photos.

As with the products in the series, the Reno7 comes with a beautiful and slim design in two exceptional colors: Cosmic Orange and Cosmic Black with OPPO Glow effects. It weighs about 175 grams with a thickness of 7.54 mm for the orange phone and 7.49 mm for the black phone. A new operating system, ColorOS 12, has been installed on the Reno7, which is one of OPPO’s first products to adopt it. The system provides users with instant access to functions with ease, convenience and smoothness.
