Kannur: CPM state committee member P Jayarajan has come out against the social media campaign alleging that he was denied a seat. Jayarajan’s request is that activists should refrain from campaigning related to the candidature. Jayarajan also rejected the PJ Army, a social media group that appeared for posts and comments on his behalf. PJ Army is the Facebook community of Jayarajan’s fans.
It is up to the party to decide what role to give as a party worker. No one outside the organization can influence that decision. Going into unnecessary controversy while only ensuring the continued rule of the LDF will only benefit the opposition parties. Jayarajan says that he has nothing to do with the PJ Army and that it has been made clear earlier. Jayarajan’s post also warns that legal action will be taken against the campaigners.
