Thrissur: A car rammed into a BJP protest against the assassination of Palakkad RSS leader Srinivasan. The incident took place at Thrissur Poochetti Center. The driver of the car, Sabu, was taken into police custody. Six BJP workers were injured.

The initial conclusion was that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Meanwhile, state general secretary C Krishnakumar demanded a CBI probe into the Srinivasan murder case. He alleged that the police assisted in the murder and that there was a high-level conspiracy and foreign aid behind the murder.

Two murders took place in Palakkad district in 24 hours. On Saturday afternoon, RSS leader Sreenavasan was hacked to death by a gang of six on three bikes. The BJP has accused the SDPI of being behind the killings.

Zubair, a Popular Front leader, was hacked to death in Elappully around 1.30 pm on Friday. Zubair was returning by bike with his father after Friday prayers. At this point, the group in the car hit the bike and killed Zubair, who fell.

Meanwhile, vigilance orders were issued in all the districts of the state. Two murders took place in Palakkad district in 24 hours. ADGP Vijay Sakhar, who is in charge of law and order in the state, will visit Palakkad to ensure law and order. It is proposed to camp here and oversee the investigation into the murders.
