Palestinian thrashes UC and escapes from the bottom of the table

Palestinian and Catholic University encouraged the beginning of the 19th date of the National Tournament in the Municipal Stadium of La Cisterna. The Arabs thrashed UC 3-0 thanks to goals from Bryan Carrasco and Misael Dávila.

At the beginning of the first part, it was the Crusaders who ventured to create danger in the Arab area, but they did not clearly reach the goal defended by Cristopher Toselli. Those directed by Poyet took advantage of the overflows by the right banza of Jose Pedro Fuenzalida, who insisted with a center to the area looking for Zampedri.

As time passed, the Catholic began to lose control of the game and Palestino managed to recover and pressure the visitors with a great collective game between Carlos Villanueva and Luis Jiménez. The clearest part of the first part was a shot from Misael Davila that he was arrested by Sebastián Pérez.

In the second part, Palestino continued with the pressure and speed in the counterattacks that complicated the Catholic. Despite the fact that the Arabs controlled dangerous actions, but without showing clarity when defining against the crossed bow.

At minute 80, Diego Valencia committed an offense against Misael Davila in the UC area that cost him a penalty against and the expulsion of the crossed forward. Bryan Carrasco he was the one who defined from the 12 steps to the right stick of Pérez who chose the same place, but did not manage to deflect the shot.

At the end of the match, Palestino found himself with two goals. The first of them came after a hand in the area of Clemente Montes after preventing both Jimenez. Bryan Carrasco returned to define from 12 steps, this time to the left of Pérez. The final 3-0 came thanks to Misael Davila who encountered a rebound from the UC goalkeeper and only had to push the ball into the goal.

With this result, Palestino managed to cut a streak of four games without winning and is excited to escape from the bottom of the table. Currently the Arabs are in 13th place with 21 units. While Universidad Católica remains in fourth position with 29 points.
