Paris and Prince Jackson made the Tony Awards a family affair. The sibling duo appeared at the 75th Annual Awards in New York City to introduce the new musical ‘MJ: The Musical.’ The live show about Michael Jackson’s life received ten nominations at this year’s awards.
“A lot of people seem to think our dad changed pop music forever – and who are we to disagree with him? But what people might not know is that he loved musicals, both on film and on stage,” Prince said in his speech. “So it’s a great honor for us to have the night’s first nominee for Best musical: ‘MJ’, which explores the complexity and brilliance of our father’s life through many of his iconic hits.”
