Parliamentarians asked for resignations in the National Oil Company, due to the statement that warned of an imminent shortage of fuel in the south of the country, which generated alarm among citizens. This within the framework of the mobilization of subcontracted workers from the Bío Bío refinery, with whom the Government and the State are holding negotiations this Saturday.

“I regret the public alarm that has been generated in the Biobío Region and in the rest of the country (…) I want to say that this is a lie, I want to ask that Mr. Álvaro Hillerns, Manager of ENAP Biobío, resign from office for being incompetent, for being a liar, for alarming the public community”he stated.

In this way, Enap’s subcontracted workers remain mobilized while waiting for the call from the management of the state company, which is meeting in Santiago.

The workers maintain the blockades in the refinery located in Hualpén, demanding that Enap sit down to negotiate the so-called Macro Agreements. in simple, They seek equal royalties and rights, between them and plant workers.
