Cruise passengers aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship that was traveling to the Caribbean find themselves stranded on board after the cruise was canceled after it departed.

The Norwegian Gem, which left the port of New York last Sunday to sail for 10 days in the warm waters of the Caribbean, still does not have a scheduled return date.
Several passengers admit that their dream trip quickly turned into a nightmare.
“Without islands and ports of call between days at sea, this trip is hellish,” says a passenger. “I can’t imagine four more days at sea without major distractions.”
According to this same passenger, the idea of being stuck on a ship is “extremely stressful”.
