Javier Pastore leave Rome. The Argentine player, one of the most expensive signings of the capital’s team in recent years, agreed with the club a termination of the last two years of his remaining contract.
The Cordoba, former PSG and from Palermo, came to Roma in the year 2018 in exchange for almost 25 million euros and was never able to show his great talent due to injuries. The Italian club has announced that they will save 7 million euros gross with this termination of the contract. The player charged 4 million euros net per year in the club.
The player got lost 59 games due to injury and he could only score four goals in the 37 games played in three seasons, so each Argentine game cost the club about 726 thousand euros.
Statement from AS Roma

AS Roma wishes Javier the best of luck for the future. The attacking midfielder still had a two-year contract at 4 million net per season but in the end an indemnity agreement was reached between the parties for a saving of more than 7 million euros for the ‘Giallorossi’ funds, equivalent to one year of gross salary of the player”.
