PC George violates High Court bail conditions in sectarian case George participated in the NDA election campaign in Thrikkakara, ignoring the police order to appear for the audition. George had earlier violated the bail conditions of the Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. George’s bail was revoked and he was jailed for making hate speech against the court order. Subsequently, he approached the High Court and obtained bail.
The High Court granted bail on the condition that he should not make public statements, should not repeat hate speech, should be subjected to scientific tests and co-operate with the investigation. The bail order also stated that the prosecution could approach the high court in case of violation of bail conditions. George has now violated these terms. Fort police ordered him to appear at 11 a.m. Sunday. However, George replied that he had health problems and wanted to go to Thrikkakara to attend the pre-arranged event.

Ignoring the police order to appear in Thiruvananthapuram for questioning in the hate speech case, PC George went to Thrikkakara to campaign with the BJP candidate and leaders. George, who attended the road show of NDA candidate AN Radhakrishnan, also delivered a routinely poisonous speech. There was a flood of anti-religious words in the campaign and press conference across the constituency. PC George started his tour with AN Radhakrishnan with a reception at the Vennala Temple where he delivered a controversial anti-religious speech.

PC George said he had no regrets about the hate speeches in Thiruvananthapuram and Vennala that led to the controversy and the police case. “It simply came to our notice then. If bail is canceled, he will go to jail. Prison is better than home. “VD Satheesan is the worst opposition leader in the 65 – year history of the Congress,” George told a news conference.
