People’s Power ‘Non-Captain Joo Ho-young’ conversion… Lee Jun-seok “I will apply for injunction”

Power of the People today appointed five-term lawmaker Ho-Young Joo as the chairman of the emergency countermeasures committee.

Rep. Joo chose to resolve conflicts and divisions in the party as the top priority of the non-captain, but Chairman Lee Jun-seok, who has resigned from his position, reaffirmed the legal response policy and expressed his will to fight within the party.

After three months in power, the ruling party, the People’s Power, switched to the ‘non-captain Joo Ho-young’ system.

Joo Ho-young, who was appointed by Acting Party Representative Kwon Seong-dong after a resolution of the National Committee, emphasized the initial intention and called for unity of the party.

“Conflict and division at such a critical time is an indelible sin against history, the people and party members.”

He said that he would meet with CEO Lee Jun-seok as soon as possible and deter legal action.

“No matter what the conclusion is, it can inflict irreparable wounds on each other… I expect that (Lee Jun-seok) will make a choice that doesn’t concern the party…”

However, Lee Jun-seok, who lost his representative post, posted on SNS in time for the appointment of the non-chairman, “I am applying for injunction” and “I am not forming a new party.”

Of course, he made it clear that he would continue fighting within the party, as well as taking legal action, but it seems that there are not many allies.

Kim Yong-tae, the only remaining member of the Supreme Council, made a line today that he would not take legal action to put the brakes on the transition to non-captain.

Rep. Cheol-gyu Lee, one of the members of the party, said, “If I was going to file a lawsuit, I should have paid it during the ethics committee disciplinary action, but I couldn’t.”

Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo also said, “Take this as an opportunity to be born again,” and pressured CEO Lee, saying, “Now is the time to stop.”

Rep. Ahn, who continued his study group today, also expressed his intention to challenge the next party.

“If there is a role for me to do that kind of thing, I will not shy away from it.”

Vice Chairman Joo Ho-young said he would stabilize the party’s leadership as soon as possible, but reaffirmed his negative stance on the September and October National Conventions.

With the inauguration of the non-captain, a fierce battle of nerves between the next party contenders over the timing of the national convention is likely to intensify.
