‘Persona 5 The Royal’ remastered sales reach 1 million copies

Sega Publishing Korea announced on the 1st that the remastered transplant version of ‘Persona 5 The Royal’ has achieved 100 sales worldwide.

Developed by Atlus, this work allows you to enjoy ‘Persona 5 The Royal’, which was released on the PlayStation (PS) 4 in 2019, on a number of the latest models. It was released through PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Windows, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

This work is a picaresque Juve Nile RPG depicting the activities of phantom thieves. It is a newly introduced work by adding a number of additional elements such as a new character and ‘Unknown 3rd Semester’ to the existing ‘Persona 5’. This remastered version is provided in a configuration that contains more than 40 additional downloadable contents (DLC) previously sold.

If the existing PS4 version ‘Persona 5 The Royal’ and this remastered version are combined, more than 3.3 million copies will be sold worldwide.

In addition, sales of 8.3 million units including the ‘Persona 5’ series such as ‘Persona 5’, ‘Persona 5 The Royal’, ‘Persona 5 Scramble the Phantom Strikers’ and ‘Persona 5 Dancing Star Night’ are on the scale. Furthermore, the total sales of the ‘Persona’ series reached 16.8 million units.
