The 53-year-old Lungauer Pfeifenberger was honored as Salzburg football player of the century and played over 400 games in his active player career in the Austrian (Austria Salzburg, Rapid Vienna) and German Bundesliga (Werder Bremen), as well as 40 games in the national soccer team (including two) Participation in world championships).
In his coaching career, he has coached SV Grödig twice (2007-2009 and 2010-2012), SC Wiener Neustadt and Wolfsberger AC.
