Race Commentary
Dauphine of the gifted Wide Mede SM in the Prix du Tréport, last month, DECOLORATION (photo) flew head and chest over the Gatinais price, quinté of this Wednesday, at Vincennes. Coming to settle at the head of the race in the descent, the resident of Jean Michel Baudouin then set its pace. DEVIL OF CAPONET progressed in its wake before experiencing problems with the pace at the start of the last bend. To finish, DECOLORATION easily put himself out of reach of his rivals of the day, to win freewheeling. From a distance, ELITE DE JIEL, patiently driven on a fourth curtain, outside, quickly ended up in the middle of the track to take 2nd place. 3rd place went to VICTOR FERM, which has long progressed ahead of the previous one, while Chanley’s Echowho was “brought back” by Epsom d’Herfraie, in the climb, was posted 4th. Patient on a fourth row, rope side, CRACK MONEY ended honorably to deprive EPSOM D’HERFRAIE from 5th place. S.D.
